Closure

Location: Near Myall Lakes NSW, Australia.
Period: The project spanned a few days in August 2004

This video installation was a social comment on the wealth created from slaughtering cattle. The abandoned farmyard and house are wreckage from the 1960's when Australia was for the most part a primary producer. The video shows that only grief and loss can come from such cruel practices. Finally a wall was created at the entrance to the slaughter pit such that no animal could enter again.
